How do I shop on OppSpot?

Anyway you like! You can browse our virtual shelves by category, size, colour or seller... whatever! Head to the menu at the top of the page to get started.


Where are the items I buy shipped from?

To ensure your new threads get to you as quickly as possible, items are shipped directly from the seller’s address to you. This means the shipping cost and delivery time are dependent on where you and the seller are located.

 

How much is shipping?

Shipping varies from seller to seller and item to item. Somethings are heavier and travel further, others are lighter and local. It all depends on what you're buying and from where. To see how much shipping will cost for a particular item, add it to your cart and begin the checkout process. 


I need more information about an item, how do I ask the seller?

While we're working on getting seller-buyer messaging up and running, you can send your question to us and we'll forward it onto the seller.

 

How do I return an item?

Exchanges, refunds and returns are at the seller’s discretion, so it’s best to check the seller’s returns policy before you purchase that something special. The returns policy can be found on the individual product page, in the item's description.

If there is no mention of the seller accepting returns in the item’s description, assume the seller does not accept returns.

If the seller allows returns, make sure to confirm that you are requesting a return by contacting us first at getintouch@oppspot.com.au. We can then give the seller a head's up that something is on the way.

In the case that something you purchase is faulty, or vastly different to how it was described/pictured online and the seller is not willing to issue a return, please contact OppSpot at getintouch@oppspot.com.au.

Can I sell something I bought on OppSpot?

Absolutely, you can - welcome to the circular economy! We’re all about keeping clothing and fashion in circulation as long as possible, so if you’ve bought something on OppSpot and no longer need it, feel free to create a store and sell it on. We love your entrepreneurial spirit.

What kind of stuff can I sell on OppSpot?

OppSpot is a thrifter's paradise, so with that in mind, you can only sell secondhand clothing and accessories. OppSpot does not sell new items unless they are secondhand items that were purchased with tags still attached.     What does it cost to sell items on OppSpot?

    Opening a store and listing items for sale on OppSpot is completely free - no fine print. Once one of your items sells, OppSpot will deduct a payment processing fee (set by our payment gateway provider, Stripe) plus a 2% service fee. You’re only charged if you make a sale (zero risk, all gain!).

    How do I manage orders coming through OppSpot?

    Click here to log into your seller portal, then the orders tab to export order information and list new items for sale.
