2026 Golden Globes Vintage Moments

2026 Golden Globes Vintage Moments

Vintage had a strong showing at the 2026 Golden Globes, with some of the night’s best lewks coming straight from the archives rather than the runway (and we love to see it). In a year full of custom gowns, it was fashion history that felt the most current.

Jennifer Lopez was a clear standout in an archival Jean Louis Scherrer Spring 2003 gown, styled by Mariel Haenn. The dramatic fishtail and embellishments proved that the stronghold early 2000s fashion has on us is firmer than ever.

Odessa A’zion leaned into vintage Dolce & Gabbana, a choice that felt effortless and true to her personal style. The brand’s signature edge and sensuality worked amazingly on the red carpet and IMO she was BOG.

Amal Clooney (always dominating these events) opted for a red Balmain gown custom-made and inspired by Pierre Balmain’s haute couture Fall 1957 collection. It was refined, elegant, just like the human rights lawyer. Can we make a collective agreement that if she ever leave George Clooney, she should take custody of red carpet events? Lord knows she's earned it.

Finally, Justin Lupe of Netflix hit Nobody Wants This fame (a.k.a. the truth-weilding sister/friend/therapist we all need) rounded out the vintage moments in an Armani Privé Fall Winter 2001 couture gown. In a nude-ish tone that complemented her fair hair, she was borderline ethereal and we're here for it. If Touched by an Angel comes back, she's a shoe in.

The takeaway from the 2026 Golden Globes was simple. Vintage is no longer a statement, it is just great fashion (duh!).
